Pain Management Workshops
The following courses are led by Jeanette Conery, our Therapeutic Yoga Specialist. With more than 500 hours of training (and counting), she has a broad knowledge of anatomy, chronic illness, and pain. She’s skilled and passionate about empowering you to move with safety and ease, so you can enjoy your life to the fullest.
Massage Therapy
A combination of multiple techniques to achieve relief of muscular tension, which is very effective. It is best described as relaxing and not as aggressive as a deep tissue experience.
CBD
As stated by ProjectCBD.org, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT, also known as, Tapping, is a combination of exposure and cognitive-behavioral therapy while tapping acupressure points. While tapping you are soothing the Limbic Brain, the part of your brain that houses your emotions. It has been scientifically proven to relieve both physical/emotional pain.
REIKI
Reiki is the universal life force energy that is within everything and everyone. A reiki healer uses their hands to allow the reiki to flow from them to the client providing stress reduction, relaxation, energy healing, physical/mental suffering and a feeling of peace and wellbeing.
LED Light therapy
The Celluma LED Light Therapy provides compromised cells with the energy to regain and restore vitality naturally. Its powerful, deeply penetrating wavelengths are absorbed by photoreceptors in the mitochondria to increase the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – the fuel that drives all cells. This boost of cellular energy resulting in an increase in micro-circulation, tissue repair, and a decrease in inflammation and pain. Low light therapy is clinically proven to relieve arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain, and stiffness. Results may vary. For best results, 30-minute sessions 2-3x a week for 4-6 weeks are recommended. This service is offered as an ‘add-on’ to your message or a stand-alone service.
